This is one of the best restaurants near division street. We ordered the Tuhog (skewers) chicken and scallops skewers. We also got Sisig which was mild in spice levels but very tender and yummy. Sisig went well with a side of garlic rice sinangag. Mom’s crab fat noodles was amazing ..made with squid ink pasta. My favourite from this place was the Palapa! Salmon cooked so beautifully with coconut curry. The smoky favour was just mind blowing this dish paired well with plain white rice. We got Panda. dreams mocktail /zero-proof cocktail that was great! Not to forget the tasty papaya salad that tickled my taste buds Overall 10/10 experience and great prices on all the food items.

My partner is vegan(I am not strict) it was the first time he left a restaurant full that didn’t cater to his diet. The pancit was like all the aunties one. The drinks were delicious especially the Ube shot. Sitting at the bar was a treat and getting to talk to the chefs and staff who are knowledgeable and fun completed the vibes.

Yum, yum, yum!!!! This was our first time at Magna Kusina and Wow!! I was impressed with absolutely everything from the service, to the music, to the incredible food, this restaurant didn’t miss a beat! I don’t eat pork, so it took us a while to get there but there were lots of options for me! I eat chicken and the skewer was sooooo tender and flavorful!! The salmon was delicate and cooked to perfection! The pancit bison is perfect for a vegetarian that wants all the flavor but no meat, and the veggies in curry were they had a bit of a kick and were oh so delicious! I don’t eat crab but my husband said that the crab fat noodles were awesome!! For dessert we had the shave ice/ice cream/flan etc (I can’t remember the name) and it was soooo spectacular! So many surprises inside! We had the sticky rice dish as well but were too full to eat there and wasn’t the best the next day. Also not my jam in terms of texture but the flavor was good! Overall, 5 stars! We will definitely be back!! Highly recommend

Lunch menu must try: * Mom's Crab Fat Noodles- an absolute flavor bomb-rich, creamy, and perfectly indulgent with just the right touch of acidity. (Available on lunch and dinner) * Willie's Pork Rib Adobo- pork rib is so tender that you can easy separate meat from the bone and even the rice also packed with rich flavor. (Lunch menu only) I also really enjoyed the side sauce on the Chicken Inasal dish—it was packed with flavor and had just the right hint of spiciness. Make sure to finish up your meal with the dessert-Bibingka, a warm and spongy coconut-rice cake from the Philippines. It's truly a delightful way to end the meal!

Had the most amazing meal here tonight. The service was phenomenal. Our waitress was so sweet and took the time to explain every dish and even made suggestions for what we could order as a group. The food, the service and the atmosphere was great. Highly recommend!

12/10. Can we start there? If I had a "last meal," it would be the squid ink & crab, corn-pepper chow chow pasta, and the coconut sticky rice dessert with "parmesan" rice flour. Please forgive my forgetfulness for correct names of dishes, but let it be known nothing about this restaurant is forgettable. From the cozy ambiance, eccentric decor, ever-present and communicative Chef de Cuisine (whom also sang along to the carefully curated 80's playlist) to the colorful dinnerware, this is an absolute MUST when venturing to something away from the every day. I do warn you, dear diner, that this will become a day to day spot. We also ordered the whole branzino, chicken skewer, and lumpia, and all of those items, as well as their pairings and sauces, are enough to make you smack yo mama. (Dont do that, but absolutely do try this place out). Thank you, Magna Kusina. Haven't had a meal done like that in a long, long time.

2nd time dining in at Magna Kusina and it never disappoints. I’ve seen Filipino restaurants come and go and I tend to believe it’s because they were not on par with authentic Filipino dishes. My husband said he couldn’t taste any garlic on his garlic rice but other than that, everything was delicious. I really enjoyed their manggarang (non alcoholic) drink. I’ve never tried anything like it. Staff were friendly and helpful with my questions.
